Terms of Service

By accessing or using the TestCEFR platform ("Service"), operated by TestCEFR ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. Your use of the Service constitutes acceptance of these Terms, our Privacy Policy (available at /privacy), and all applicable laws and regulations.

TestCEFR provides an online English proficiency testing and certification platform. Our Services include, but are not limited to: • CEFR-aligned English proficiency assessments across six skills (Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing) • AI-powered scoring and detailed feedback on Speaking and Writing skills • CEFR-aligned English courses covering levels A1 through C2 • IELTS, TOEFL, and TOEIC mock exam preparation • QR-verified digital certificates upon successful completion • Progress tracking and skill analytics dashboard We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice when possible.

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When you create an account, you agree to: • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration • Maintain and promptly update your account information • Maintain the security of your account credentials (password, email) • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Users under 18 should have parental or guardian consent. You may register using an email address, or through third-party authentication providers (Google, GitHub). Third-party authentication is subject to their respective terms of service.

Certain features of the Service require payment. By making a purchase, you agree to the following: • All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated • Payment is processed securely through PayPal or other authorized payment processors • Prices may be adjusted with reasonable notice before renewal periods • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings • Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of the current billing period • We do not store your full payment card details on our servers All payment processing is handled by third-party providers in compliance with PCI-DSS standards. TestCEFR does not directly handle or store your payment card information.

All sales are final. TestCEFR does not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits for any purchased products or services, including assessments, courses, subscriptions, and digital certificates. Because our products are digital and immediately accessible upon purchase, they cannot be "returned" once delivered or used. We encourage all users to try our free CEFR Quick Scan before committing to a paid assessment or subscription. Subscription cancellations stop future billing but do not generate refunds for the current billing period. You will retain access until the end of the paid period. TestCEFR issues digital certificates upon successful completion of assessments. Certificates are subject to the following: • Certificates are QR-verified and linked to your detailed assessment results • The validity period for each certificate is specified on the certificate itself (typically 2 years from the date of issue) • Expired certificates remain accessible in your account but are no longer considered valid for professional purposes • You may retake assessments to obtain a renewed certificate at any time • Certificates may not be transferred, sold, or shared under another person's name • fraudulent use or misrepresentation of certificates will result in immediate account termination • Employers and institutions may verify certificates by scanning the QR code or visiting our verification page

The Service and all of its contents, features, and functionality — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, assessments, course content, and software — are owned by TestCEFR and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not: • Copy, modify, distribute, or sell any part of the Service • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of any software used in the Service • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service • Remove or alter any proprietary notices on the Service • Use TestCEFR branding, logos, or trademarks without written permission

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TestCEFR and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: • Loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses • Damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service • Damages from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data • Damages from any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in assessment results Our assessments are designed to provide an indication of English proficiency aligned with CEFR standards. Results are advisory in nature and do not guarantee employment, admission, or any specific outcome. TestCEFR certificates are supplementary credentials and are not intended to replace officially recognized language proficiency tests. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to TestCEFR in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through: 1. Good faith negotiation between the parties 2. Mediation through an independent mediator 3. Binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules You agree that any legal action arising out of these Terms must be filed within one (1) year of the cause of action, or be permanently barred.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes: • We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page • Material changes will be communicated via email notification to registered users or through a prominent notice on the platform • Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you should discontinue use of the Service.
